This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that governs how we, Lavie Bio Ltd. (“Lavie Bio”, “we”, “our”  or “us”), use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in  connection with the use of our website https://lavie-bio.com/, and any other website that we operate (each,  together with its sub-domains, content and products, a “Site”). 

  1. Introduction. We have implemented this Privacy Policy because your privacy, and the privacy of other  users of our Site, is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online practices concerning privacy  and data protection, and the choices you can make about the way your Personal Information is collected  and used in connection with the Site. “Personal Information” means any information that may be used,  either alone or in combination with other information, to personally identify an individual, including,  but not limited to, a first and last name, a personal profile, an email address, a home or other physical  address, or other contact information.

Any  capitalized but undefined term in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to it in the Terms.

Upon your review of the terms of this Privacy Policy, you  hereby acknowledge our collection, processing and sharing of Personal Information for the purposes set  forth herein. You are not legally obligated to provide us Personal Information, and you hereby confirm  that providing us Personal Information is at your own free will. We reserve the right, at our discretion,  to change this Privacy Policy at any time. To the extent of a material change in the Privacy Policy we  will notify you of such change by posting a notice on the Site or by contacting you via the communication  means you have provided us with. Such change will be effective ten (10) days following posting of the  revised Privacy Policy on the Site or the provision of the notice to you, as applicable, and your continued  use of the Site thereafter means that you accept those changes. 
  4. Information You Provide To Us. We receive Personal Information from you in the following way:  

4.1. ‘Contact Us’ Information. If you send us a “Contact Us” request, whether by  submitting an online form that we make available or by sending an email to an email address that we  display, you will be required to provide us with certain information such as your email address, name  and resume.  

4.2. We collect your Personal Information such as your full name, your email address,  your phone number, your position and the name of the company you work for when you exchange  business cards with us or attend a marketing event (e.g., a webinar) and provide us with your Personal  Information. For this, we rely, as applicable, on our legitimate interest or on your consent. 

4.3. Personal Information of our customers, service providers, resellers, distributors, agents and/or finders. We collect the contact details (e.g., full name, email  address, phone number, company name and any other information that you decide to provide  us) of our customers, service providers, resellers, distributors, agents and/or finders in order  to contact them during the ordinary course of our business and perform the applicable  agreement. Our legal basis is, as applicable, the processing is necessary for the performance  of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the  data subject prior to entering into a contract and/or our legitimate interest (e.g., to perform the  contract, send contract-related communications) and/or compliance with a legal obligation  (e.g. tax laws, bookkeeping laws, etc.). 

  1. Information We Collect From You. We collect Personal Information and other non-personal  information from you in the following ways: 

5.1. Clickstream Data. As you browse the Internet, a trail of electronic information  is left at each web site you visit. This information, which is sometimes called “clickstream”  data, can be collected and stored by a web site’s server. Clickstream data can tell us the type  of computer and browsing software you use, the address of the web site from which you linked 

to the Web Site, and in some instances, your e-mail address. We may use clickstream data to  determine how much time visitors spend on each page of the Site and how they navigate  through the Site. 

5.2. Third Party Software. Because we rely on third party commercial software and programs to operate our servers, we may inadvertently collect personal information due to certain automatic functions or features contained in such software or due to certain software changes or upgrades. We will use reasonable efforts to remove any such information after we discover such information in our system.

Our Site uses a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect  information such as how often users visit this Site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what  other websites they used prior to coming to this Site. We use the information we get from Google  Analytics to maintain and improve the Site. We do not combine the information collected through the  use of Google Analytics with personal information.   1. Job Applicants. In submitting your application you agree that the Personal Information included in your  CV will be processed as set forth in this Policy. If you do not want your Personal Information to be used,  please do not submit your CV. 
  2. Parties That We May Share Your Personal Information With. We will not disclose and/or share  your Personal Information with third parties, except in the following cases: 

8.1. We may transfer your Personal Information to our local or foreign subsidiaries or  affiliated companies for the purpose of storing or processing such information on our behalf. Such  information may be transferred to other countries. We require that these parties agree to process such  information in compliance with our Privacy Policy.  

8.2. We may transfer and store your Personal Information with third parties that provide  us hosting services. 

8.3. We may share your Personal Information with our third-party service providers and  partners, but only to assist us with our business operations and to provide our Site to you and other  users. Such information may be transferred to other countries.   1. Use of Anonymous Information. We may use Anonymous Information (as defined below) or disclose  it to third party service providers in order to improve the Site, enhance your experience with the Site, to  help us track trends, evaluate the effectiveness of our ads and analyze patterns. We may also disclose  Anonymous Information (with or without compensation) to third parties, including advertisers and  partners. “Anonymous Information” means information which does not enable identification of an  individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our Site. 
  2. Opting Out. You may choose not to receive future promotional, advertising, or other Site- or services related emails from us by selecting an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email that we send. Please  note that even if you opt out of receiving the foregoing emails, we may still respond to communications  initiated by you, as well as send administrative emails that are necessary to facilitate your use of the Site  and/or Services (for example, emails confirming print completion).

We will retain your Personal Information for a reasonable period required in order to  achieve the purposes for which your Personal Information was collected and to comply with applicable  laws. Your consent to such purpose remains valid after termination of our relationship with you. 
  4. Choice. At all times, you may choose whether or not to provide or disclose Personal Information. If you  choose not to provide mandatory Personal Information, we may be unable to provide you with access to  certain parts of the Site.  
  5. Access/Accuracy. To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, we wish to maintain  accurate Personal Information. If you would like to delete or correct any of your other Personal  Information that we may be storing, you may use the tools that we make available on the Site or you  may submit an access request by sending an email to legal@evogene.com Your email should include  adequate details of your request.  
  6. Children’s Privacy. Our Site is not structured to attract individuals under the age of 18 years.  Accordingly, we do not intend to collect Personal Information from anyone we know to be under 18  years. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under 18 years, we will delete  that information as quickly as possible.
