Lavie Bio aims to Improve food quality, sustainability and agriculture productivity through microbiome based, AI-driven ag-biological products. We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager, a career-oriented individual, who loves agriculture and wants to help farmers and retailers succeed.  If you are a self-starter who wants to be a part of our collective agricultural future, we hope you will get to know us. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to Executive Vice President of Commercial and North American General Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Lavie-Bio sales targets for Thrivus Bio-inoculant in Saskatchewan, (Western Canada Sales geography.)
  • Foster foundational relationships with farmers and retailers, rooted in honesty and doing what is right.
  • Facilitate the successful collaboration with our retail and farmer partnerships.  Including territory strategy, execution, and measurement.
  • Develop individual grower crop plans, providing innovative and agronomic solutions to maximize grower returns and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Work closely with our partners supporting our retail business planning.  Focusing on our 2022 launch, with growers, retailers and prospects ensuring alignment.
  • Work closely with VP Commercial to develop an annual business plan that includes sales elements and accountabilities for farmers and retails.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams across the retail business structure, and adapt to grower behaviors, agriculture trends, and market factors impacting the profitability of customers.
  • Experience planning, presenting, and organizing internal company meetings and customer-facing activities, such as plot demonstrations, product launches, and industry events.
  • Work with additional Stakeholders in our value chain. (Procurement, Distribution and Research)

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree. A master’s degree in Agronomy or equivalent would be welcomed.
  • Five + years sales agronomy experience
  • Must have skills enabling sales success (listening, influence, and negotiation).
  • Have a sound knowledge of agriculture products including seed treatments, crop protection, and biological products.
  • A valid license (5-year abstract required)
  • Agricultural experience may be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
  • A positive attitude and joy in your role.
